Our Construction Process
Our process is the same for every client — clear, simple, and built around your goals. It starts with a discovery consultation where we learn what you want from your new outdoor space. From there, we tailor the design to match your vision, lifestyle, and budget.
Step 1 - Preperation
We prep every site with precision — starting with layout paint, stringlines, and a final walkthrough.This ensures everything is dialed in before we start building, so your pergola is installed exactly how you envisioned it.
Step 2 - Excavation
We dig every pergola post footing to the proper depth — typically 24" to 36" — depending on soil conditions and structure type. Each footing is set for long-term strength and stability, whether it’s a freestanding pergola or one attached to a patio. All excess soil is hauled off-site, keeping your yard clean and ready for install.
Step 3 - Materials
We start by digging and setting each pergola post with precision.
Every post is leveled and aligned using stringlines and laser levels to ensure a clean, symmetrical install. Once the posts are set, we secure them in concrete for long-term durability — built to handle Charleston’s weather and stand strong for years to come.
Step 4 - Final Walkthrough
Once the pergola is finished and the project is complete, we’ll walk the site with you to make sure every detail meets your expectations. If anything needs a final tweak — we’ll handle it. After approval, final payment is collected and you’re left with a finished space built to last.
Step 5 - 3 Year Warrenty
We stand by our work. Every hardscape project we complete is covered by a 3-year warranty on workmanship. That means if anything shifts, settles, or fails due to how it was installed — we’ll fix it, no questions asked.
